We offer people an opportunity to list and comment on the businesses, products and services they have used. By telling us what you discovered encourages others to do the same. Why should I become a member?
Log in and you have immediate access to information on businesses in your area, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. We will also send you e-newsletters on subjects of interest, events, new products or ideas on the market, handy hints and reminders about seasonal stuff. And should you need to have someone independent help you fix a problem, we can help.

How do businesses get listed or advertise on the site?
A service or company gets on the List only after a member submits a recommendation about their experience with that company or they are invited by Pete or Trudy. A business can pay to be put on the List but their service will be checked out by us.

What services are reviewed and rated on OVER THE FENCE?
Essentially the categories we have listed on OVER THE FENCE cover services and products from Arborists to Wrought Iron, and everything in between. Have a look at Categories to find out more. If you as a member discover a new product, service or category then we can add it.

No, its FREE.

Yes, absolutely FREE so fill your boots and use shared and reliable information from our site!

Can't I just ask my neighbours for recommendations rather than use OVER THE FENCE?
Well yes, you could. And to foster the idea of true neighbourhoods and communities we would encourage it! However, when you join OVER THE FENCE you will have thousands of neighbours. Think about that!

What happens if I change my mind about being a member?
We certainly hope that this doesn’t happen! And as the site is mostly driven by its members we doubt that you will be dissatisfied with the information that the site contains. However, if you're a member and you don't want to be anymore, we will be sad ,but will remove you from our data base if that's what you would like.

How do I cancel my OVER THE FENCE membership?
If you're thinking about canceling, please contact us before doing so. We value your opinion and would like to know how our service could improve for our members. You have the right to cancel your membership at any time. Just contact us by phone, email, fax or mail. Please include your name, address and phone number in any written cancellation request.

Does OVER THE FENCE have a Privacy Policy?
Yes, we do and it is very straightforward. Simply put: we respect everyone's right to privacy and any information that is provided by us about you is for our use only and for the management of this site – the information we gather from you will never be shared with, or provided to, another party.
